We believe in absolute data ownership and security. Text Cleaner Pro does not transmit, share, upload, or process any of your texts, clipboard contents, or analytics over the internet.
- All text cleaning algorithms run locally on your device.
- No cloud servers are used to execute formatting, processing, or parsing rules.
- The app runs perfectly without any active internet connection.
3. No Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or monitor any personal information, location telemetry, or usage statistics.
- No signup or login accounts are required.
- We do not integrate any third-party ad networks or tracking scripts.
- We do not collect information about the text you paste or output.
4. Local Storage & Preferences
The application only saves data on your device's local storage for user convenience:
- Settings Toggles: Your selected formatting rules (e.g. Remove spaces, Remove empty lines) are stored locally using the device's shared preferences so you don't have to reconfigure them each time you open the app.
- File Export: When you choose to export your cleaned text as a `.txt` file, it is saved directly into your device's documents folder. No copies are sent to us or any third parties.
5. Permissions Used
Text Cleaner Pro only requests access to standard device features necessary for core utilities:
- Clipboard (Copy/Paste): Needed to retrieve text to be optimized and to copy the cleaned output.
- Vibration / Haptic: Used to provide tactile feedback for a better user experience on interactive clicks.
- Storage Access: Required only when exporting formatted text files directly to your device storage.
